Day 1 Bengaluru to Ooty — Check-in & Lake
Early morning drive from Bengaluru to Ooty via Mysuru and Bandipur (~8 hours). Check into a comfortable hotel. Post lunch, boat ride at Ooty Lake and walk along Charing Cross. Overnight stay.

Day 2 Toy Train & Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy the iconic Nilgiri Mountain Railway ride (Ooty-Coonoor, subject to booking). Visit the Botanical Garden, Rose Garden and Tea Museum. Sunset at a scenic viewpoint. Overnight in Ooty.

Day 3 Doddabetta Peak & Return Drive
Post breakfast, drive up to Doddabetta Peak — the highest peak in the Nilgiris. Optional stop at Sim's Park in Coonoor. Lunch, check out and drive back to Bengaluru by night.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book toy train tickets?
Nilgiri Mountain Railway tickets sell out fast in season. We assist with online booking but recommend booking 30–60 days ahead.
Is Ooty crowded during summer holidays?
Yes. April–June and December are peak seasons with heavy tourist traffic. Book hotels well in advance for these dates.
Can we visit Coonoor and Kodaikanal too?
Coonoor is close and easily combined. Kodaikanal is a longer drive — we recommend a separate 3-day extension for it.
Do we need warm clothing?
Yes. Nights get cold (10–15°C) even in summer. Carry a light jacket year-round and full winter wear from Nov–Feb.
Are there activities for kids?
Ooty Lake boating, toy train ride, chocolate factory tours and the deer park are all family/kid-friendly.
