Day 1 Arrive Trichy — Transfer to Thanjavur
Arrive at Trichy airport / railway station where our team receives you and transfers you to Thanjavur (approx. 1.5 hrs). Check into your hotel. Post lunch, proceed for the darshan of Lord Brihadeeswarar at the UNESCO World Heritage temple built by Raja Raja Chola. Marvel at the towering vimana, the monolithic Nandi and exquisite Chola frescoes. Overnight in Thanjavur.

Day 2 Thanjavur to Kumbakonam — Temple Town
After breakfast, visit the Thanjavur Palace and Saraswathi Mahal library. Drive to Kumbakonam and visit the Kumbeswarar Temple, Sarangapani Temple, Ramaswamy Temple and the sacred Mahamaham tank. Overnight in Kumbakonam.

Day 3 Navagraha Temples & Airavatesvara — Srirangam
Post breakfast, visit selected Navagraha temples around Kumbakonam and the UNESCO listed Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram. Drive to Trichy and check into your hotel. Evening darshan at Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple. Overnight in Trichy.

Day 4 Srirangam & Trichy Departure
Early morning special darshan at Srirangam. Post breakfast, visit the Rockfort Uchi Pillayar Temple and the Jambukeswarar Temple at Thiruvanaikaval. Check out and transfer to Trichy airport / railway station for your onward journey.

Should I visit all nine Navagraha temples?
Devotees who wish to perform full Navagraha parihara visit all nine. Our standard itinerary covers 3–4 depending on time — we can extend to all nine on request.
Is photography allowed inside temples?
Photography is prohibited inside sanctums at all temples. Outside photography is allowed at Thanjavur Big Temple, Airavatesvara and around Srirangam.
Is this itinerary senior friendly?
Yes. Drives are moderate, hotels are comfortable and darshan is unhurried. Srirangam is the most walking-intensive stop — we can arrange wheelchairs on request.
Can we add Rameswaram or Madurai?
Absolutely. We can extend this itinerary to include Madurai, Rameswaram or Kanyakumari for a longer Tamil Nadu pilgrimage.
