This unique Vaishnava pilgrimage takes you to the three revered Ranganatha temples established along the sacred Kaveri river — Adi Ranga at Srirangapatna, Madhya Ranga at Shivanasamudra and Antya Ranga at Srirangam.

Day 1 Bengaluru to Srirangapatna — Adi Ranga Darshan
Depart Bengaluru early morning and drive to Srirangapatna. Take darshan of Sri Ranganathaswamy at the Adi Ranga temple, one of the oldest on the Kaveri. Explore the historic Srirangapatna town and its heritage sites. Check into your hotel in Mysuru. Overnight in Mysuru.

Day 2 Mysuru to Shivanasamudra — Madhya Ranga
After breakfast, drive to Shivanasamudra to take darshan of Madhya Ranganatha and witness the magnificent Barachukki and Gaganachukki waterfalls (best in monsoon and post-monsoon). Continue drive towards Trichy. Overnight in Trichy.

Day 3 Srirangam — Antya Ranga Darshan
Post breakfast, proceed to Srirangam for a leisurely darshan at the vast Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, home to the tallest temple gopuram in Asia. Explore the seven concentric enclosures and the thousand-pillared hall. Evening deeparadhana. Overnight in Trichy.

Day 4 Trichy to Bengaluru — Departure
Early morning special darshan at Srirangam. Post breakfast, check out and drive back to Bengaluru with cherished memories of the three sacred Rangas along the Kaveri.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the significance of the three Rangas?
Adi (first), Madhya (middle) and Antya (last) Ranga refer to three ancient Ranganatha temples on Kaveri islands. Devotees believe darshan of all three in one lifetime — ideally one day — grants immense punya.
Are the Shivanasamudra falls always flowing?
The falls are best from July to February. In peak summer (April–May) water levels can be low. The Madhya Ranga darshan is available year-round.
What is the dress code?
Traditional attire is recommended at all three temples — dhoti / saree or salwar-kameez. Shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed inside sanctums.
Is this trip suitable for senior citizens?
Yes. Drives are moderate and hotels are comfortable. Srirangam involves the most walking as the temple complex is vast — wheelchair access is limited.
Can the itinerary include other South Indian temples?
