Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Cochin — Transfer to Guruvayoor
Arrive at Cochin airport / railway station where our team receives you and transfers you to Guruvayoor (approx. 2 hrs). Check into your hotel close to the temple. Freshen up and proceed for the darshan of Lord Guruvayoorappan. Attend the evening deeparadhana and rituals. Overnight in Guruvayoor.

Day 2 Guruvayoor — Mammiyoor & Punnathoor Kotta
Early morning special darshan at the Guruvayoor Temple. Post breakfast, visit the nearby Mammiyoor Shiva Temple and Punnathoor Kotta elephant sanctuary. Return for evening darshan. Overnight in Guruvayoor.

Day 3 Guruvayoor to Kalady — Adi Shankara Kshetra
After breakfast, drive to Kalady, the sacred birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya. Visit the Sringeri Sarada Mutt, Sri Ramakrishna Advaita Ashram and the Adi Shankara Keerthi Sthambha. Continue to your hotel in Kochi / Kalady for overnight stay.

Day 4 Kalady to Trivandrum — Padmanabhaswamy Temple
Post breakfast, drive to Trivandrum through scenic Kerala countryside. Check into your hotel, freshen up and proceed for the darshan of Sree Padmanabhaswamy in the temple's ancient sanctum. Overnight in Trivandrum.

Day 5 Trivandrum — Attukal & Departure
Early morning darshan at Padmanabhaswamy. Post breakfast, visit the Attukal Bhagavathy Temple and the seaside Shankumugham beach. Check out and drive to Trivandrum airport / railway station with cherished memories of Kerala's sacred temples.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code at Guruvayoor and Padmanabhaswamy temples?
Both temples enforce traditional dress codes. Men should wear a mundu / dhoti without a shirt (angavastram allowed) and women should wear a saree, set-mundu or salwar-kameez. Our team will brief you in advance.
Is this pilgrimage suitable for senior citizens?
Yes. The itinerary is paced comfortably with hotels close to each temple, air-conditioned transport and assistance during darshan queues wherever possible.
Are special darshan tickets included?
Special darshan and vazhipadu / archana tickets are not included but can be arranged on-ground by our team on request.
Can non-Hindus enter these temples?
Guruvayoor and Padmanabhaswamy temples permit only Hindus. Non-Hindu guests can view the temples externally and visit the surrounding shrines and museums.
Can the itinerary be customised?
