Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Puri — Jagannath Darshan
Arrive at Bhubaneswar and drive to Puri (~1.5 hours). Check into your hotel close to the temple. Freshen up and proceed for the darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. Attend the evening rituals. Overnight in Puri.

Day 2 Puri — Mahaprasad, Beach & Local Temples
Early morning special darshan at Jagannath Temple. Post breakfast, partake in the sacred Mahaprasad meal. Visit the Gundicha Temple, Lokanath Temple and enjoy leisure time at the golden Puri beach. Overnight in Puri.

Day 3 Puri to Konark & Chandrabhaga Beach
Post breakfast, drive to Konark (~1 hour) to visit the UNESCO listed Sun Temple, a magnificent 13th-century chariot-shaped monument dedicated to Surya. Continue to the serene Chandrabhaga beach. Return to Puri for overnight stay.

Day 4 Puri — Final Darshan & Departure
Early morning darshan at Jagannath Temple. Post breakfast, check out and drive to Bhubaneswar. Optional stop at Lingaraj Temple and Udayagiri caves before your onward flight / train.

Can non-Hindus enter Jagannath Temple?
Jagannath Temple traditionally admits only Hindus of Indian origin. Non-Hindu visitors can view the temple from the rooftop of the nearby Raghunandan Library.

Mahaprasad is the sacred vegetarian meal cooked in the Jagannath Temple kitchen — one of the largest in the world — and offered to devotees at Ananda Bazaar within the temple complex.
Is the Konark Sun Temple worth visiting?
Absolutely. Built in the 13th century in the shape of a colossal chariot with 24 wheels and 7 horses, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's greatest architectural marvels.
What is the dress code at Jagannath Temple?
Traditional attire is recommended — dhoti/kurta for men and saree/salwar-kameez for women. Leather items, cameras and mobile phones are not allowed inside.
Can we combine with other Odisha temples?
