October to April offers clear skies, dramatic waterfalls (still flowing from monsoon) and comfortable weather for trekking and boat rides.
How tough is the living root bridge trek?
The Nongriat double-decker trek is a moderately challenging descent and ascent of around 3,500 steps. We arrange a local guide and pace it gently for couples.
Is Dawki's water always crystal clear?
The Umngot river is famously clear from November to March. During monsoon months, water levels rise and visibility drops — we plan the trip in the dry window for the best experience.
Can this be combined with Kaziranga or Assam?
Yes, popular add-ons include Kaziranga National Park or a Guwahati temple day. We'll re-quote and adjust the itinerary.
