Trek down to the famous double-decker living root bridge at Nongriat (approx. 3,500 steps round-trip). Cool off at natural rock pools. Return to Cherrapunji by evening for a well-earned rest. Overnight in Cherrapunji.

Drive to Dawki for a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot river, followed by a visit to Mawlynnong — Asia's cleanest village — and its skywalk. Overnight in Shillong.

The Nongriat double-decker trek is a moderately challenging descent and ascent of around 3,500 steps. We arrange a local guide and pace it gently for couples.
Is Dawki's water always crystal clear?
The Umngot river is famously clear from November to March. During monsoon months, water levels rise and visibility drops — we plan the trip in the dry window for the best experience.
Can this be combined with Kaziranga or Assam?
